Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete has impressive social media audience
Kai Trump will have numerous prominent cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple courses worldwide and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."
"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, so he's quite busy."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.
"He is the top athlete globally," the young golfer said.
"And he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.
The young star has millions of followers and has started an exclusive fashion and living brand.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
